Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups M&M candies


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the M&Ms.
  7. Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
  8. Press extra M&Ms on top of each dough ball.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill dough for thicker cookies.
  • Try peanut butter or mini M&Ms for variety.
  • Add sea salt on top after baking for extra flavor.
