- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, simmer 15 minutes.
- Stir in fresh basil during last few minutes.
- Drain pasta, reserve some water.
