Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 oz rigatoni or penne pasta
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in skillet; cook garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp; cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink; set aside.
- Add remaining butter and cream to skillet; whisk to thicken.
- Stir in lemon juice, half Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Combine pasta with sauce; gently fold in shrimp.
- Transfer to baking dish; top with panko mixed with remaining Parmesan and olive oil.
- Bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes until golden.
- Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
